Welcome to Salsa Society! We are family-run space in Melbourne’s south east, created so locals don’t have to travel all the way to the city just to learn good salsa. Led by Deon, whose passion for salsa started this whole thing, this level 1 course focuses on clean technique, strong basics, and feeling confident on the dance floor as you progress through level at your own pace. His wife Ani assists, and the whole vibe is supportive, warm, and full of heart. You don’t need experience, a partner, or perfect coordination just show up. Every week you’ll build on your foundations step by step, with plenty of guidance, laughter, and personal attention. Our motto is simple: leave your ego at the door and enjoy the process. If you’ve always wanted to learn salsa properly in a space that actually cares about your growth, this is where you start.
